Open a New Utility Account

To open a new utility account, visit us at the City Hall Customer Service window Monday - Friday between the hours of 8 am to 4 pm. Below you will find requirements for opening a utility account.

Residential Accounts

Please bring in the following items:

Owners: 

Proof of ownership

  • Warranty Deed. (All signature are required on Warranty Deed)
  • Valid Government I.D. for all residents at location over 18 years old.
  • Completed Water and Sewer Service Application
  • Deposit payment. Deposit amounts are based on the meter size. Please call Utility Billing Customer Service at (561) 243-7100, then Press 1 then 0 to verify your deposit amount. A $15 account activation fee will be assessed on your first bill.

Tenants: 

  • Valid Lease, must be completely filled out. Either the Single Family Residential Lease or the Multi-Family Residential Lease. Lease must be printed out and signed by lease and lessor.  
  • Valid Government I.D. for all residents at location over 18 years old.
  • Completed Water and Sewer Service Application
  • Deposit payment. Deposit amounts are based on the meter size. Please call Utility Billing Customer Service at (561) 243-7100, then Press 1 then 0 to verify your deposit amount. A $15 account activation fee will be assessed on your first bill.

All new account holders must come into the office to establish new accounts within 48 hours prior to move in or start date.
