Automatic Bill Pay

Use automatic bank drafting to conveniently pay your utility bill at no additional cost for the service. To sign up, you must submit a:

Pay By Phone
Customers have the option to use the 24-hour Pay-By-Phone Interactive voice response (IVR) system.  Please call (561) 243-7100 and select Option 1.  There is no fee to use this convenient payment option. There is a minimum transaction of $10 to use this service.
Pay By Mail

Please mail the full amount due along with your payment stub to the address indicated below.  A courtesy envelope is enclosed with your monthly bill.  Make your payment payable to the City of Delray Beach and write your account number on the check/money order.  Do not send cash.

Pay In Person

City Hall cashiers are available to accept your payment during regular business hours (Monday-Friday) 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. A drop box is available in front of City Hall.

Cash, Check, Money Order, Credit Card (Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express) are currently accepted.

Special Instructions to our seasonal Residents 

To minimize any mail delays in delivery of your Utility Bills, please contact Utilities Customer Service at 561-243-7101 with your change of address.  We also suggest turning off your water at your house valve and locking your outdoor spigot while you are away. Remember to contact us again when you return to Delray Beach so that your Utility account reflects the correct address. Thank you for your assistance.

Service Interruption

If your water is turned off due to non-payment, your account must be paid in full to restore service. To guarantee that your service is turned on the same day, you must pay your full account balance plus re-connection and a late fee of $25 before 4:30 pm. This payment can be made online, by phone or in person at City Hall. Once the payment has been made, please call Customer Service at 561-243-7100 to confirm same day turn-on service.
