The City of Delray Beach is excited to host the 4th of July Celebration in 2026! It’s been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws over 20,000 people to our Village by the Sea. The event starts at 5 pm with a Bicentennial Time Capsule opening at the main stage at A1A. Then at 6 pm we will have the 60’ flag raising ceremony, with the singing of the National Anthem on Atlantic Ave and Seabreeze Ave.
Our celebration has something for everyone – food trucks and vendors, children’s activities and games, non-stop entertainment, live music and so much more!
While the fireworks barge originally planned for this year’s celebration is not available due to circumstances beyond the City’s control, a fireworks display will still take place at 9 p.m. to conclude the evening.
(The streets close on July 4th from 12:00 pm – 11 pm - East Atlantic from the Intracoastal Bridge east to A1A, A1A from Thomas to Miramar.)
