Lift Station Maintenance

The City owns 129 waste water pump stations throughout the City’s service area. These stations collect and pump wastewater through the collection system to the South Central Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (SCRWWTP) for ultimate treatment and disposal.
 

Did You Know?

Wastewater collection systems are designed to handle only three types of waste products: used water, human body waste and toilet paper. They are not designed to handle other waste products that are sometimes disposed of improperly.
