The City of Delray Beach is introducing a Downtown Employee Parking Permit Pilot Program to provide affordable, convenient parking options for employees working in the Central Business District (CBD) and beachside areas.

Program Details

  • Cost: $10 per month, per employee or business owner

  • Where You Can Park: Any City-managed parking space in the CBD or beachside areas, except Atlantic Avenue and A1A

  • Permit Term: Monthly renewal required

  • Duration: Pilot program runs for 6 months, starting October 1, 2025

  • Non-transferable: Permits are valid only for the registered vehicle(s)

 
Eligibility

You must work within the Central Business District. Proof of employment is required.

 
Required Documentation

  • Valid driver’s license

  • Current vehicle registration

  • Proof of employment (choose one):

    • Employees: Recent pay stub or employer verification letter/email

    • Business Owners: Current Delray Beach Local Tax Business Receipt

 

How to Apply

Option 1: Individual Application 
Option 2: Employer Submission

  • Employers may submit a verified employee list to the Parking Office - Pilot Program Business App Form

  • Employees on the list complete payment individually

  • Employers may choose to cover the cost for their employees

 

How to Pay

  • Online: www.tocite.net/oneparkingdelraybeach 
  • In person: Park Delray Beach office, 95 NE 1st Ave, Delray Beach (located inside the Old School Square parking garage on the 1st floor).

 

Program Oversight

  • Managed by: Delray Beach Parking Office

  • Enforcement: License Plate Recognition (LPR) technology

  • Evaluation: After 6 months, based on:

    • Number of permits issued

    • Utilization rates

    • Employee satisfaction

    • Impact on CBD and beachside parking availability
