Major Luis Skeberis began his career with the Delray Beach Police Department in 2007.  He was promoted to sergeant in 2015, lieutenant in 2022, and major in 2025. Major Skeberis is currently a Criminal Investigation Division commander. His experience includes Community patrol, Problem-Oriented Policing, Crime Suppression, Criminal Intelligence, Narcotics, Defensive Tactics Instructor, Property Crime, Fraud, and Major Case Investigations to include Homicide. Major Skeberis formerly served as the Honor Guard Commander and a S.W.A.T. Team Leader. He’s also an 18-year U.S. Navy Veteran. Lieutenant Skeberis attended Central Texas College and Palm Beach State College.
