Lieutenant Hannes Schoeferle began his career with the Delray Beach Police Department in 2012.  He was promoted to sergeant in 2019, then to lieutenant in 2024. Lieutenant Schoeferle is currently the Special Operations Section Lieutenant and Marine Unit Commander. During his tenure, he has served in Community Patrol, Motor Unit, Traffic Homicide Investigations, and Internal Affairs. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Northwood University.
