Major

QuinnMajor Quinn was raised in the city of Delray Beach. Prior to starting a career in Law Enforcement, she worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families as a Child Protective Investigator. She began her Law Enforcement career at the Delray Beach Police Department in 2005. Major Quinn was promoted to sergeant in 2015, lieutenant in 2019, and major in 2025.  She is currently the Patrol Division Commander.   

She has a diverse career that includes having worked on the Community Response Task Force, the Clean and Safe Unit, the Special Victims Unit and the Crimes Against Persons Unit. Major Quinn graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in 2004 and in 2015 she received her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice Administration from Lynn University. She is also a graduate of the Southern Police Institute (SPI)- 81st Command Officers Development Course, the International Association of Chiefs of Police- Women’s Leadership Institute, the FBI LEEDA- Leadership Trilogy and the Senior Management Institute for Police (SMIP) Session 80.

Major Quinn’s professional affiliations include the National Organization of Black Law Enforcement Executives, National Tactical Officers Association, Southern Police Institute Alumni Association, National Internal Affairs Investigators Association and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated. She is actively involved in Youth initiatives in the communities of Delray Beach to include mentoring. Major Quinn is also active on several committees and boards in the community.
