The Delray Beach Utility Billing Office will be closed from July 21 through July 27, 2026, for a system upgrade.
During this period:
- Completion of GIS Strategic Plan
- Upgrade of all City server and data storage infrastructure
- Secure all fiber optic circuits between sites
- Upgrade all Firewall network equipment
- Implement Cityworks work orders for additional departments
- Configure redundant internet circuits for City Hall and hosted applications
- Migrate PD camera data to new storage
- Redesign GIS server infrastructure
- Upgrade all workstations to latest operating systems
- Upgrade all domain controllers for security and redundancy
- Security for email blocking of 1000 emails per hour
- Adobe Pro licensing and training for 200 users
- Add Mutli-factor authentication to network and application
- Upgrade of Emergency Operation Center equipment
- Duplicate all equipment and data in disaster recovery and business continuity location
- Upgrade backup solution for all City data
- Begin migration to laptop environment for mobile workforce
- Restructure backend network for servers and data
