Child Passenger Safety Seat Program
The Delray Beach Child Passenger Safety Program offers an interactive class for the proper installation of infant and child safety seats. A Child Passenger Safety Seat Tech will assist you in the installation of your car seat. These classes usually last between 30 minutes to one hour. Appointments are available anytime between 9 AM - 3 PM Monday - Friday.

Look Before You Lock Program
Each year 37 children are left alone in cars and die from hypothermia. We've come up with a way to help. "Look Before You Lock” means to always look in both the front and back of the vehicle before locking the door and walking way.
Children should never be left in a vehicle. Never leave children alone in or around cars; not even for a minute.
Remember...
- It only takes 10 minutes for a car to heat up 20 degrees and become deadly.
- Heatstroke fatalities have occurred even in vehicles parked in shaded areas and when the air temperatures were 80 degrees F or less.
- A child’s temperature heats up 3 to 5 times faster than that of an adult’s.
