Signed and Sealed Plans: Professional drawings, plans, surveys (no more than 12 months old, calculations, certificates, maps, and other construction documents that require professional signatures must be digitally signed and sealed. Certificates must be issued by a third-party certification authority and self-signed certificates will not be accepted.

All licensed professionals are responsible for verifying that their digital signatures adhere to the requirements of the State of Florida and are utilized in accordance with the guidelines of their respective licensing boards.

Supporting documents:

  • PDF files only - letter, legal, or tabloid/ledger size
  • Multi-page or single-page, portrait, or landscape
  • Files must be named correctly and meet the digital signature requirements. Refer to naming specifications and digital signature requirements below.

Drawings and plan sets to be uploaded to the drawings folder:

  • A 3" W x 2" H blank area is required in the upper right-hand corner of each plan sheet for the City’s digital approval stamp 
  • Single page PDF files only (individual plan sheets)
  • All plan sheets must be in landscape orientation
  • All plan sheets must be digitally signed with a certificate issued by a third-party certification authority. Verification is completed upon upload.
  • Plan sheet sizes: 24” by 36”; renderings can be reduced to 11' x 17"

  • Current Survey – not more than 12 months old
  • Proposed Survey
  • Landscape Plan
  • Preliminary Engineering Plans, including drainage calculations
  • Tree and Palm Survey
  • Composite Overlay Plan
  • Photometric Plan
  • Irrigation Plan
  • Demolition Plans
  • Architectural Elevations
  • Floor Plan
  • Roof Plan
