Take a Class with Renee Ray

Renee Ray is an award-winning contemporary painter and mixed-media artist whose creative practice weaves together landscape, abstraction, and material exploration. Her work is inspired by the natural world, architectural space, and moments of awe—where stillness and intensity meet. 

She is currently an Artist in Residence at Arts Warehouse, Delray Beach, Florida, where she maintains an active studio practice, exhibits her work, and engages the public through classes and community programming. Renée has pursued extensive study in painting, drawing, art history, and mixed media at New York colleges. She holds an undergraduate degree in Interior Design from Parsons School of Design, New York City, as well as graduate degrees in Business and Education—training that deeply informs both her studio practice and teaching approach. 

As an educator, Renée is known for fostering an encouraging, dynamic studio environment where experimentation and skill-building go hand in hand. She supports students in building technical confidence while discovering their own creative voice, creating classes that are both grounding and creatively expansive.
