A Pirate’s Intuition (August 7 – September 9, 2026) – This exhibition considers how our contemporary lives are shaped through digital and cultural discourse. Using nautical motifs to explore ideas of resilience, interconnection, resistance and survival. This show features eight large paintings.

Adults Printmaking Workshop (July 25, 2026)- Participants met artist Amaya Estrada and joined CAS staff through basic printmaking techniques to create beautiful nature inspired images. (15 participants – SOLD OUT)

Artist Talk: Amaya Estrada (July 2, 2026)- South Florida artist, Amaya Estrada, joins Pamela Solares, CAS Program Administrator, to talk about her new exhibition, Bury Me in Palms. The conversation explored Amaya’s development as a multidisciplinary artist who experiments in sculpture, ceramics and printmaking and her exploration of personal narrative and environment art.

All Ages Cyanotype Workshop (June 27, 2026)- Participants met artist Amaya Estrada and joined CAS staff in this free cyanotype workshop with botanical inspired objects based on the Bury Me in Palms exhibition. For families with children ages 5 and up. (9 participants)

Amaya Estrada: Bury Me in Palms (June 5- August 1, 2026) – an exhibition of over 30 works by Amaya Estrada that explores identity and memory through handmade art inspired by nature and Afro-Caribbean heritage.
DBHS Heritage Lecture Series (April 7, 2026) – The Creative Arts School hosted the Delray Beach Historical Society for their lecture series. This lecture featured author Eliot Kleinberg presenting his novel “Hypocrite’s Row.”

Spring into Art (April 3 – May 23, 2026) – Featured over 40 artworks by members of Art Connect Palm Beach inspired by the arrival of spring.
Studio Partnership with Arts Warehouse (April 1 – May 31, 2026) – Arts Warehouse artists utilized Creative Arts Schools studio spaces for personal practice and public art workshops.
Art on the Square (March 28 and 29, 2026) - CAS participated in this year’s Art on the Square, where hundreds of visitors had the opportunity to engage with our staff and teaching artists. Activations included a gift shop pop-up and live artmaking at the event, and a pop-up ceramic exhibition in the school.
CAS Artist Market (March 21, 2026) - CAS hosted a continuation of its monthly artist market, featuring printmakers, painters, ceramicists, jewelry makers, collage artists, and candle makers.
The Space We Make: Women in the Arts (March 14, 2026) - Co-organized with First Female Palm Beach, an organization dedicated to advancing women in the arts, CAS hosted a panel discussion as part of Women’s Art Week. This conversation included 7 women of color across the arts who discussed barriers, achievements, and ways to continue supporting marginalized voices in the art world. Over 20 guests listened and participated in this thoughtful dialogue.
$5 Studio Day (March 7, 2026) -This month, CAS showed nearly a dozen students of all ages how to use Styrofoam sheets and washable markers to practice printmaking, creating their own one-of-a-kind artworks.
First Friday + Multicultural Youth Arts Festival (March 6, 2026) - As part of Downtown Delray Beach’s First Friday, CAS invited members of the Palm Beach Watercolor Society’s Color Works art exhibition to showcase additional works and live paint. CAS also organized a community art activity to engage families attending the Multicultural Youth Arts Festival at Old School Square. Overall, CAS welcomed over 70 people through its doors.
DBHS Heritage Lecture Series (January 21, 2026) – The Creative Arts School hosted the Delray Beach Historical Society for their lecture series. This lecture featured a presentation from Kym Clark of EverWild.
Palm Beach Watercolor Society Exhibition: Color Works (January 13 – March 28, 2026) – Presented 56 acrylic and watercolor works from 36 artists PBWS members.
CAS Artist Market (Jan. 2026) – Two-day art market spotlighting South Florida artists, including Creative Arts School art instructors. Over 400 attendees.

Fall in Love with Plumosa (November 3 – 6, 2025) – Plumosa School of the Arts, in collaboration with the Creative Arts School, invited families to a week of the arts! Plumosa arts teachers lead nightly, hands-on activities in music, dance, theater, and visual arts.
Plein Air Palm Beach Exhibition (October 30 – November 11, 2025) – Presented watercolor, acrylic, oil, and gouache paintings documenting South Florida culture. Over 20 artists represented.
Old Masters at Harbour’s Edge Exhibition (October 24 – November 22, 2025) – Featured works by three senior female artists from Delray Beach, Lesley Franco, an abstract mixed media artist, Dorothy Polayes, a classical pastel painter, and Susanna R. Smith dba Zsuzsi, a classical oil painter. Over 100 exhibition visitors.
Free Halloween Craft (Oct. 2025) – Halloween-themed crafts for over 100 children.
