Update published on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. at approximately 4:00 p.m.
We are pleased to report that no Boil Water Notice is required in connection with the ruptured water main located beneath the Intracoastal Waterway.
At all times prior to isolating the ruptured water pipe, positive flow and pressure were successfully maintained, ensuring the continued integrity of the system. There was no entry of non-potable water, soil, or any other contaminants into the affected distribution line, and chlorine residuals remained within acceptable ranges throughout the process.

Update published on Tuesday, January 27, 2026. at approximately 10:30 a.m.
The ruptured waterline located under the Intracoastal was successfully isolated at 10 a.m.
Water pressure is now beginning to recover and is expected to resume to normal operating levels of 40+ psi.
At this time, our team is actively reviewing the surrounding areas that may have experienced lower water pressure earlier this morning. This review will help us determine whether a boiled water notice is necessary and, if so, to clearly establish the affected limits.
