Traffic Advisory: October 27 through November 3, 2025

Scheduled emergency sewer main repair at S Ocean Blvd and Linton Blvd
intersection begins Monday, October 27, 2025

A contractor working on a Florida Department of Transportation project in the area mistakenly punctured the City’s sanitary sewer main and it must be repaired. It will take approximately seven days to complete the repair.

What You Need to Know:

• Expect a temporary lane shift for southbound traffic along S Ocean Blvd, just south of the Linton Blvd & S Ocean Ave intersection

• Expect a lane closure of one eastbound lane on Linton Blvd, at the bridge heading east toward the Linton Blvd & Ocean Ave (SR A1A) intersection

• Pedestrian detours will be clearly marked to guide foot and bike traffic around the work zone

• Reduced speeds and intermittent delays through the work zone

• This traffic control plan will remain in effect 24 hrs/day until the repair is complete
