The Creative Arts School at Old School Square is proud to announce its inaugural Creative Arts and Culture Fest, taking place from 12 pm – 4 pm, Saturday, August 9th, in the heart of downtown Delray Beach. This free, family-friendly celebration brings together local organizations for a day filled with live entertainment, hands-on activities, and community connection.
Event highlights include:
· Live music and dance performances
· Interactive art activities for all ages
· Live painting demonstrations
· Stand-up comedy
· Watercolor class featuring tropical leaf designs
In partnership with the Delray Beach Police Department, attendees can also enjoy complimentary treats from the department’s ice cream truck – a refreshing way to beat the summer heat.
“This event is a celebration of Delray’s creative spirit and cultural diversity,” said City Manager Terrence Moore. “We’re excited to offer a space where families can connect, create, and be inspired – all at no cost.”
The Creative Arts School extends its sincere thanks to the many local organizations partnering to bring this vision to life. Their participation highlights the strong sense of collaboration and community that makes Delray Beach unique.
The Creative Arts & Culture Fest is open to the public, and all ages are welcome. For more information, visit delraybeachfl.gov/CAS.
