Ocean Rescue Junior Lifeguard Program Registration
Ocean Rescue is currently accepting applications for the Spring Break Junior Lifeguard Program. The purpose of the program is to encourage awareness, leadership, self-confidence, and provide an environment that allows young people a chance to explore lifeguarding as a possible career choice or as an interest.
- Recreational: Ocean swimming, competitions, paddling, running, wave riding, snorkeling, beach games, etc.
- Surfing Lifesaving: Preventative lifeguarding skills, identification of ocean conditions, rescue paddleboard training, recognition of hazards, recognition of distressed swimmers, mock rescues, personal water craft, water entries and exits, use of rescue tube and rescue can.
- Health and Safety:First-aid, CPR, patient assessment, spinal management, environmental safety, etc.
- Educational: Ocean awareness, marine life, weather, etc.
New participant registration will be held on March 2, 2019 from 9 am - 10 am at Pompey Park 1101 NW 2nd Street Delray Beach, Fl 33444.
