Delray Beach police are investigating a fatal crash that happened in the 100-block of SE 6th Avenue. The crash involved a Tesla Model Y that was reported by witnesses to be driving at a high rate of speed northbound on Federal Highway. The vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a light pole in front of a hotel. The driver died at the scene. No one else was injured.
