The City of Delray Beach is requesting public input regarding infrastructure improvements for the City’s Annual Infrastructure Improvement Hearing. Public input is requested on potential infrastructure needs or deficiencies throughout the city such as sidewalks, street improvements, drainage issues, etc. The public input provided on needed improvements helps guide the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP), which is a 5-year schedule of capital improvements in Delray Beach with a cost of $25,000 or more. The CIP for Fiscal Years 22-26 is available on the City’s website.
The Planning and Zoning Board initiated the annual process at its meeting on Monday, January 24, 2022, at 5:01pm. The second hearing will be held at the Planning and Zoning Board meeting of Monday, March 21, 2022, at 5:01pm. Public input may be provided in-person during the hearing or prior to the hearing by submitting comments in writing to the Development Services Department, Attention: Infrastructure Improvement Hearing, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida, 33444, or via email at pzmail@mydelraybeach.com with a subject of “Infrastructure Improvement Hearing.”
The hearing will be conducted as the first item of the regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Board (acting as the Local Planning Agency) meeting. Members of the public wishing to view Advisory Board meetings should log into the City’s website, https://www.delraybeachfl.gov/i-want-to/watch/city-meetings, where the meeting will be live streamed for the public.
