The City of Delray Beach has a long-standing commitment to green building and sustainability. To ensure future sustainable design and construction best practices, the city is drafting a Green Building Ordinance and is asking for public input. A public workshop will be held at 6 pm, on Thursday, October 14, at the Swinton Operations Center. The ordinance is part of a number of environmentally-focused initiatives that have been implemented throughout the city, all aimed at creating a more sustainable and resilient community.
