Seacrest Boulevard Beautification Project Public Meeting
Residents are encouraged to attend the February 6th public meeting, held at the Swinton Operations Complex, 434 S. Swinton Avenue, to discuss Phase 3 of the Seacrest Boulevard Beautification project. The project will increase the usability and safety for pedestrians and bicyclists while beautifying the streetscape within a highly visible neighborhood. Construction is set to begin in February 2020 and complete by July 2020, weather permitting.

Swinton Operations Complex,
434 S. Swinton Avenue, Delray Beach
The new construction design will reduce the travel lane width and add dedicated bike lanes, new signage, roadway striping and roadway delineations to provide local traffic calming, increase motorists' awareness of bicyclists and encouraging motorists to maintain the posted speed limit as they travel through the residential area. Additional work will include: repairs of existing sidewalks and addition of new sidewalks where none exist, as well as new brick paver crosswalks and upgrades to crosswalks signals.
Local Agency Program (LAP) federal funding administered through FDOT will support the project’s construction.
Any existing trees, landscaping, fencing, etc. in the public right-of-way in conflict with the proposed improvements will need to be relocated by the homeowner prior to construction or these improvements will be removed by the contractor during construction. Please remove any items you wish to keep prior to the construction start date of February 2020.
