After several daunting days preparing for Hurricane Dorian, today the National Weather Service gave Palm Beach County the all clear.

Delray Beach’s Emergency Operation Center (EOC) remains operational, with a reduced staff, until the city reopens for normal operations on Thursday.

Our beach will reopen tomorrow morning, as will the regular operations of the bridges to the barrier island.

Also on Wednesday, Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County will open their facilities for normal operation and resume regularly scheduled garbage, recyclables, yard waste and bulk waste collection. If the storm disrupted a collection, it will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled collection day.

To report any suspected instances of price gouging, scams or fraud, call the price gouging hotline at 866-9NO-SCAM (866-966-7226).
