City's Annual Infrastructure Improvement Hearing

Second of two hearings requesting public input regarding infrastructure improvements

The City of Delray Beach continues to request public input regarding infrastructure improvements for the City’s Annual Infrastructure Improvement Hearings. The first hearing was held on Monday, March 25, 2019, The second hearing will be held at the Planning and Zoning Board meeting on Monday, May 20, 2019, at 6:00 pm in the Delray Beach City Commission Chambers, 100 NW 1st Avenue. Input on needed improvements helps guide the Capital Improvements Plan (CIP), which is a 5-year schedule of capital improvements in Delray Beach. The CIP for Fiscal Years 18-23 was adopted by the City Commission on October 16, 2018, by Ordinance No. 21-18

Public input is requested on potential infrastructure needs or deficiencies throughout the city such as sidewalks, street improvements, drainage issues, etc. The hearing will be conducted as the first item of the regularly scheduled Planning and Zoning Board (acting as the Local Planning Agency) meeting.

Interested members of the public who are unable to attend may provide comments or suggestions in writing. Letters may be submitted in person or mailed to Development Services at City Hall, 100 NW 1st Avenue, Delray Beach, Florida 33444, or sent to pzmail@mydelraybeach.com. Letters received prior to the hearing will be transmitted to the Board and entered into the record. Comments may be submitted until the second meeting is held.
