City Invites Local Businesses to 2026 Delray Beach Vendor Expo

Post Date:03/17/2026 1:57 PM

The City of Delray Beach is inviting local businesses to attend the Delray Beach Vendor Expo on Thursday, May 28, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Old School Square’s Vintage Gym.

The free event is designed to help small businesses learn how to work with the City and explore opportunities to provide goods and services for municipal projects and programs.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet City staff who make purchasing decisions, learn how to become a registered vendor, and gain a better understanding of how the City procures services and supplies.

“The City of Delray Beach works with businesses across a wide range of industries,” said Delray Beach City Manager Terrence Moore. “This is an opportunity for local entrepreneurs to connect directly with City departments, learn about our purchasing process, and discover how their business can become a City vendor.”

The City regularly contracts with businesses that provide services such as catering, printing, promotional items, event support, landscaping, maintenance and repair services, technology services, and construction trades.

The Vendor Expo is particularly valuable for businesses that have never worked with a municipality before or are unsure how the procurement process works.

During the event, businesses can:

• Meet City staff from departments that regularly purchase goods and services

• Learn how to register as a City vendor

• Discover the types of products and services the City purchases

• Explore opportunities to subcontract on larger projects

• Ask questions about the City’s purchasing process

The City hopes the event will help expand its pool of qualified vendors while making it easier for small businesses to access opportunities to work with the City.

The event is free to attend, but registration is encouraged.
