Class Description - Students learn the many types of memoir and the difference between memoir and autobiography. By using their list of people and events they make a sentence outline for their project. Lectures will help students with their writing process. They will keep a journal and also choose a book in this genre to read and discuss. A two-hour Dialogue Workshop offers one technique to use in order to "show and not tell."
