Capital improvement projects involve permanent structural change or the restoration of some aspect of a property, neighborhood or roadway that will enhance the its overall value, increase its useful life or adapt to new uses. This includes projects such as seawalls and beach nourishment.

The Pompey Park Recreation Center is being renovated to provide more recreational opportunities to the Delray Beach community through the construction of new state of the art facilities and amenities.
Project Information
The recreational building will be a Category 5 rated facility and will feature improved recreational facilities will be available to children, families and the community at large. The new state-of-the-art facilities will aid in youth sports development and enhanced community meeting spaces to accommodate a variety of needs.
