An organized and structured step team that performs at local events and statewide competitions. The art of stepping was derived from a tradition of song and dance rituals practiced by historic African American fraternities and sororities. The program reinforces the role of youth as positive members of the community.

The Delray Divas Step Team welcomes youth from 2nd thru 12th grades in Southern Palm Beach County. Practices are held at Pompey Park Recreation Center and performances and competitions are held throughout Florida.

The program is designed to allow our youth to set and achieve goals, make decisions and evaluate their decisions by learning self-worth, decision making skills, and traditional values such as; self-respect, respect for others and perseverance. As well as identifying barriers and challenges in their lives and develop strategies to overcome barriers and realize goals.  Our ultimate goal is to develop and deliver a youth helping youth initiative that introduces, maintains, and reinforces the role of youth as positive members of the community.  We attend between 60-80 performances a year throughout Florida. The High School Divas have 15-20 competition a year where they compete for 1st, 2nd or 3rd place winnings.
