Take part in the Delray Beach Historical Society (DBHS) "Summer at Sea" Lecture Series starting at 6:30 PM on August 25th at the Delray Beach Historical Society Bungalow. They will go over "100 Years of Surfing in Delray Beach & Beyond" with Tom Warnke, Executive Director of the Surfing Florida Museum and DBHS Historian. He'll go over the history of coastal preservation and activism in Florida over the years. Registration for the event costs $5 for DBHS and Boca Raton Historical Society members and $10 for non-members.
