Delray Beach 4th of July Celebration

The City of Delray Beach is excited to be hosting the 4th of July Celebration again for 2026! It's been a family-friendly event for over 50 years and draws over 20,000 people to our Village by the Sea. The event starts at 5 PM with a Bicentennial Time Capsule opening at the main stage at A1A. Then, at 6 PM, we will have the 60' flag raising ceremony, with the singing of the National Anthem on Atlantic Ave and Seabreeze Ave.
Our celebration has something for everyone – food trucks and vendors, children's activities and games, non-stop entertainment, live music, and so much more! And don't miss the spectacular fireworks, which will start promptly at 9 PM.
Road Closures:
There will be a road closure from 12 PM – 11 PM on July 4th, along East Atlantic, from the Intracoastal Bridge east to A1A, and along A1A, from Thomas St. to Miramar Dr.
Fourth of July Event Schedule
8 AM – 12 PM | 4’s on the 4th Volleyball Tournament, south end of the municipal beach across from Casurina Rd.
8 AM - 12 PM | Sand sculpting contest, sponsored by the Delray Beach Rotary and Kiwanis clubs. Judging will begin at 11 AM. For more information, contact (954) 899-6454 or visit www.starspangledsandcastles.com
9 AM - 1 PM | Snorkeling and scuba dive tours of the S.S. Inchulva "Delray Wreck".
Check in/register near the volleyball courts, on the south end of the beach, across from Anchor Park. Limited spots available. There will be three waves of tours. Must know how to swim and be comfortable in open water. Equipment provided, or bring your own. *Visibility of the wreck may vary with the tides. Learn more about the S.S.
