Public Shelling Event at Anchor Park

Join us starting Friday, February 6, at Anchor Park for a unique outdoor experience open to the public!
Everyone is invited to enjoy a temporary public shelling event featuring a large shell pile created during recent beach renourishment activities. The shells were separated during sand screening and are now available for community exploration and collection. The shelling area will be open daily during regular park hours, sunrise to sunset, beginning Friday, February 6, 2026, for a limited time.
To ensure everyone can enjoy the event, please take only a few shells per day. Collect at your own risk and use caution while on site. Come discover beautiful shells and celebrate our award-winning Blue Flag coastline at this event.
